Carlisle Family Fun and Safety Day
5/5/2012 - UFFC48 along with other fire companies and local emergancy teams including Life Lion participated in Carlisle Regional Medical Center's Family Fun and Safety day. Each group of people did something different to teach family about safety in home and elsewhere and give families a chance to get out for the afternoon in an enjoyable and safe atmosphere. UFFC48 took Engine 148, the Brush truck, and the Utility. We crushed and cut cans as well as built a mock burning house for the kids to put out the fires on.
